With the righteous reign of Orihah, followed by his son Kib's captivity by his own son Corihor. Kib's younger son Shule rises to power, rescues his father, and establishes a righteous kingdom. However, rebellion continues with Noah, Corihor's son, who captures Shule, only to be slain by Shule's sons. The chapter concludes with prophets warning the people of their wickedness, leading to their repentance and renewed prosperity under King Shule.
