Ammon and King Limhi's people, suffering under Lamanite bondage, devise a plan for escape. Gideon proposes intoxicating the Lamanite guards with wine, allowing the Nephites to flee through a secret pass by night. Led by Ammon, they successfully escape into the wilderness and eventually arrive in Zarahemla.
