Signs of Christ's birth appear; the righteous are saved

As the ninety-first year passed, unbelievers threatened to slay those who believed in the prophecies of Christ's birth. Nephi, the son of Nephi, prayed fervently, and the sign of Christ's birth—a night without darkness and a new star—was given, converting many and frustrating the wicked. Despite this, Gadianton robbers and dissenters continued to infest the land, causing sorrow among the righteous.
