Amalickiah, having gained power, incites the Lamanites to war against the Nephites, seeking to conquer all the land. Meanwhile, Captain Moroni diligently prepares his people for defense, strengthening their fortifications and inspiring them to be faithful to God and defend their liberties. The Nephites, though reluctant to shed blood, resolve to protect their families and faith from destruction.
