Mighty Prayer, Forgiveness, and Intercession

Enos, taught by his father Jacob, wrestled before God in mighty prayer all day and night, receiving a remission of his sins through faith in Christ. He then prayed for the Nephites and Lamanites, receiving promises that a record of his people would be preserved and brought forth in a future day.
