Nephi Teaches His Brothers

Nephi returns from his vision to find his brothers disputing about Lehi's words. He teaches them the meaning of the olive tree allegory — Israel scattered and gathered. He explains the iron rod is the word of God, the river of filthy water is hell, and the great and spacious building is vain pride.
