Alma 54
In Alma 54, Moroni and Ammoron engage in a heated exchange of letters concerning prisoner exchange and the ongoing war. Moroni, seeking to recover Nephite prisoners, proposes an exchange and sternly warns Ammoron to cease hostilities and repent. Ammoron defiantly rejects Moroni's warnings, justifies the Lamanite war, and agrees to the prisoner exchange only to preserve his provisions for his soldiers.
